Inlet Beach Florida

Prior to becoming Inlet Beach, World War II veterans were distributed real estate to build upon, therefore the area was sometimes known as "Soldiers Beach".  Named after Phillips Inlet at the border of South Walton and Bay counties, Inlet Beach happens to be South Walton's most Easterly beach neighborhood, where quaint cottages, luxury homes, condos and lots can be found.   Camp Helen State Park, which was the Avondale Textile Mills employees' resort destination in the 1940’s, is a must have picnic area while here. With its many huge Spanish moss draped live oak trees and walking/biking trails around Lake Powell, as well as the largest South Walton beach access, what else could you want?
